Summer starts here at WBRL.
We would advertise a summer sale on our memberships, but we can’t get cheaper than free! Pop down to the library this summer to get your membership and open a world of endless opportunities! From the stacks of books you could read to our massive video game and board game collection, we have everything you’ll need to make this summer a blast.
Read to Win with the Summer Reading Challenge
Adventure through the pages of books between July 1 & August 26 with our summer reading challenge. Track each day you read for at least 15 minutes, earn your badges, & enter to win epic grand prizes. You'll even find two bonus challenges to complete for extra entries!
Visit the Service Desk with your booklet after every 10 days of reading for a small surprise! Return your log books by September 10 to be eligible for the grand prize. (Newborn-12yrs)
In-between all the barbeques, swimming, and sun-soaked adventures be sure to track your reading on Beanstack! Our top ten readers will even have their logged minutes shown on our leaderboard which will be broadcasted on tv screens all over the library—talk about bragging rights.
There's plenty of chances to win this summer, from one of our many weekly prizes, to the whopping grand prize for the supreme summer reader! (13+)

Dhruvi
I am currently studying to get a Bachelor's in Public Affairs and Policy Management. I am looking forward to all the exciting programs the library is gonna offer in the Summer months, specifically anything with paint! Some of my favourite things to do in the summer are going for hikes in the trails, kayaking, and spending some time outside with family and friends. I'm excited for the Summer and can't wait for all the upcoming programs!

I am currently taking a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Management and a minor in Journalism. This summer I am looking forward to running more programs and getting to spend more time in rural! I am super excited for story time at the cabin and all the fun indoor and outdoor activities we have planned for the summer! Some of my favourite summer activities are trail walks and reading books on the beach! (This is Sam's second summer with us!)
