WBRL Renovation Updates
We're officially entering a new era of Wood Buffalo Regional Library, and we're so excited for what's next! While it may get a little messy before it gets magical, we promise the upgrades will be worth it!
Please pardon our appearance while we renovate. We’re doing our best to minimize disruptions, but some impacts are unavoidable.
Plans can change quickly on a construction site! We recommend checking this page or our social media for the most up-to-date information or patron impacts.

Collections
Our renovation includes an exciting full overhaul of the first floor, as well as updates to the second floor. As a result, there will be some unavoidable impacts on collections located throughout the library.
Not to worry—any materials packed away during renovations will be returned once our new and improved spaces are ready.
Collections that are temporarily unavailable during renovations will not appear in patron searches. However, staff can place holds on specific titles upon request. Please note that, these holds will be fulfilled once the collections become accessible again.
During renovations, collection access may occasionally be limited or unpredictable. Some items may appear available in our catalogue but be temporarily inaccessible. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any confusion while we work to improve the space for our community.

Programs
We've done our best to keep our programs going as usual - you might just notice a location change. The Suncor Program Room will be unavailable, as will the Canadian Natural Teen Area.
During the week, story time programs will take place throughout the library. Follow the rug to find our programmers! Many programs have moved to Meeting Room A as well.

Thanks to our generous friends at The Hub, many weekend and Friday evening programs will take place in their space in The Hub Program Room.
Check out the individual program details for up-to-date program locations or ask staff for assistance.
