In every community, there are individuals whose lives are vivid tapestries of wisdom, resilience, and remarkable achievements. This year, the Senior's Resource Committee is proud to announce the search for the 2024 Senior of the Year – an award that shines a light on the extraordinary seniors who have made significant contributions to our community, led by example, and inspired those around them.
Do you know someone who embodies the spirit of lifelong learning, and community service, or has achieved a remarkable feat? Perhaps they’ve dedicated countless hours to volunteering, are advocates for positive change, or have taken on challenges that inspire awe and admiration. Now is your chance to ensure their stories of perseverance, love, and courage are celebrated! You can also nominate a senior in person at Wood Buffalo Regional Library. The nomination deadline is May 15.
